Opening new accounts while managing existing accounts can often feel like a nightmare for financial professionals. From finding the right forms to correcting past submissions while trying to stay updated on the status, this process can easily get out-of-hand and cost a financial professional much of their precious time. IFP understood this frustration and developed an in-house solution for our network of financial professionals. Introducing: Accounts on Advisor[X], live starting June 2022. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Accounts Wizard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the main pain points in new account opening is knowing (and submitting) all the required documents. Now, when opening up a new account in Advisor[X], advisors will be prompted to answer a few quick questions, such as account or registration type, to trigger the necessary forms required. Once complete, our dashboard will populate all forms and documents required and allow an advisor to upload and submit right within the feature. 
BONUS: With this roll-out, we’ve also added a whole new set of forms to use for opening new accounts to streamline the process for when advisors need to complete them with their clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Pending Accounts Workflow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The second pain point we addressed was keeping financial professionals updated on the status of pending accounts after the first submission. The solution? Within each pending account, financial professionals are now able to see approval stages along with direct notes regarding any delays, such as missing or incorrect information. Still within this dashboard, financial professionals can communication directly with the home office and submit corrected forms or documents to move the approval process along quicker than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
